Erica’s Beauty Therapy Room
Erica's Goals
After years of renting space in other salons and home visits, Erica wanted her own Beauty Therapy room next to her home so she could reduce travelling time driving to customers house, or renting a space which didn’t quite suit her requirements, giving her customers the comfortable, relaxed environment she wanted to provide for the various massages and beauty treatments she offered. The new space would also help with her time management, being able to work from home and dealing with a busy family life.
Making it Work ...
There was really only one area the studio could be installed within the garden to give customers easy access to the treatment room without disturbing the rest of the house. The size of the studio was made to fit the space available with windows and doors positioned to give the best access to the studio.
Custom Specifications
The studio was installed with the internal fit out of cupboards and worktops done to Erica’s custom specification, along with the decoration and flooring, to make the space not only work for her, but also reflect her personality and create a professional space to work with clients.
Finished Build
Erica’s clients now have a comfortable and relaxed environment to come to for their treatments even in the middle of winter due to the studio being fully insulated and double glazed and Erica doesn’t have to commute around to clients houses or various salons on a daily basis.
